You are not alone, everyone I know has not finished.
We do it few times on season but ... who care season version.
On normal last boss is unbeatable for most players.
2 biggest problems:
1. you can't resurrect.
2. phase 3 is bugged - many players don't see lava and they die, so can't finish.

1. this is called wiping which is a common concept taught to actual gamers by last 2 decades of dungeon MMOs.
2. there is no bug, just a misconfiguration on players side.
In other words, those problems you state don't exist and of course the dungeon is easy to beat by competent players.

People: BDO should stay as it is: a glorified single-player game that has some online elements.
Sandbox game which means options. If you don't want to play the dungeon then don't.
