I think dungeons are a good move. I might even consider first steps towards checking them out (among other things) when a pve server/channel gets added (... just wild guessing it has not happended yet; have not bothered to log in for quite some time mostly because of that).
dude please dont use a frigging red background behind text that was cringe
If I'm allowed to play with friends, and burn up my Agris while doing this dungeon I'll definitely be doing it even if I'm making 150-250 an hour. I'm ready for the new era of BDO.
I gotta agree with the "wait and see" sentiment. As all prior attempts at instance content has fallen to the wayside after a short period of time. One of the issues I have with dungeon content in particular, is that after a while it just becomes another thing to grind. It's a short term solution to a long standing problem. That problem being that players feel punished when they play together. They need to work on creating more guild activities and even consider revamping the party system so it rewards players for working together instead of punishing them.
Like, I understand the concept of dividing exp and such. It's a staple party mechanic within a lot of mmorpgs. However, in bdo where the main form of progression is mob grinding it's negative effects really hit hard to one's progress. It just doesn't really work alongside how people progress in the game so it needs to change.
Also totally off topic but I'm still upset that they won’t add dances into the game. Some of my favorite mmorpg memories are of people randomly starting dance parties.

Of course"wait and see" is the correct attitude.
Only simpletons believe that a trailer is enough to prove that a game studio successfully went through a core design shift.
Good points here. The long term problem has always been doing the same thing over and over forever. A dungeon done right would actually be another form of content that isn't just going around in a circle. Yes, dungeons get repetative after a while, but at least it's a different form of content which is all that matters.
Ngl, pretty cringe to change your Text colour, even more cringe to change it everytime you post something or reply.
Yikes...
