Hello there. So today as usual, I'm farming on a Elvia server, Naga today and I got a weapon. Only one sadly.
I'm not gonna lie, the idea of the weapon is shit. Why ? For many things.
First, when you got the message about the spirit and the weapon, you have to talk to this little "manifestation". If a monster hits you, the game is closing the conversation and that's annoying because you have two kinda of weapons, so you can't just press "R" quickly.

Second, the cooldown to swap the weapon, when you hitted a monster or you got hitted, you have to wait like 5-10 second before swapping, and that's just sooo annoying, every other gears are like that. "You cannot be used in your current state." Please remove this..

Third, we can only see the timer of the weapon when we check is directly in the bag or if we putted it in quick slot. So we are losing time to check the timer when you, PA, you can already add it in the buff list.

Fourth no automic swap when the weapon is expired, so we are losing time again, 'cause we have to wait 10 s before swap to our real main weapon.

Pearl Abyss, why are you always trying to find annoying stuffs when you can do simple stuffs ?
Why did you create a weapon when it can be a BUFF which can be automaticly apply on our characters without talking to a manifestation ?
It 's just simply and more pleasant for everybody to just get a buff than a weapon. With that no more weapons, no more swapping, no more conversation. Just something pleasant for every players.


And please, add a dark mode, my gosh, my eyes are dying.

The (smarter) players told that it will be a bad idea even before Elvira was released, but surprisingly (jk) PA ignored the feedback like how they usually do an went with this absolutely pointless weapon """mechanism""".

At this point there is neglectable chance that they will change it.

Ironically half of the things you listed ain't even releated to the Elvira weapons, but simply clear examples of the "quality" this game offers.

In other games with higher quality standards, if you press something (like equip a weapon), the game handless it himself. In bdo, it throws pointless messeages and request you to wait, as the lazzy devs didn't bothered to take the effort to implement basic features properly...

Ah this is bullshiet, bst part weapons are bugged, for one weapon you can spam R and it equips the weapon instantly, but your weapon are sheathed and since its only weapon you never know if u equipped it or not, so you naturally try to use a skill or dodge but cant cuz no weapons are out...

Im on the team "just make it a buff" but we all know it ain't gonna happen. It will be an insult to fix some bad idea.

So we are basically fcked until that person leaves the department or quits entirely

Another thing about weapons is that despite dealing huge dmg to mobs, in my case an elvia weapon has -2 ap than my actual main weapon, making me lose a bracket of ap which is definitely not favorable in case somebody (or me) decides to pk for whatever reason.
