This is my secret spot. These gardens are lovely. I'll try and post a few pictures. :) 

Firstly, these gardens in Calpheon are lovely. Beautiful scenery with pretty flowers, trimmed hedges, carved trees, and magnificent water fountains. 

People are enjoying this area, kids playing hide & seek, conversing, reading a book, enjoying the warmth of the sun, viewing the beautiful gardens and water features ... and lastly, painting a portrait. Which brings me to my favourite bit of all. 

He isn't just painting a portrait, this scene is fantastic. It starts off with two artistic models, recreating a rather famous painting. Their pose is completely recognisable at a glance. But then you look closer at the painter, and his artwork. 

The painter is completely ignoring the two stylish models. He has instead turned his attention to the lady that holds his heart. The painting that he is creating is of a beautiful lady standing nearby. I wonder how long those two models will stand in that difficult pose, only to find out that the artist ignored them the whole time. I laugh so much every time I pass through Calpheon picturing this scene. A story of a love-struck artist, and two poor models.
