I have played BDO for quite a while now. I started using the web-launcher and switched over to steam once it had released there. Over the cause of this time I met many people,
way more then I can count, some of them I would and am considering as friends, heck I even fell in love before.Obviously, after such a long time, I have been to many places throughout the world of Black Desert.
I traveled mountains, the sea and in some cases even the sky, however there is no place I hold as dearly as a little cave outside the walls of Altinova,
a place overseeing the great castle of Mediah, which despite it's sad history is still a sight to behold.
Why is this so special to me? In September 2019 I had my first little vacation on the NA servers, some folks from the lovely Opaque guild had invited me to hang out with them.
I had known them for a couple months by that time already, we were all active within the same BDO discord after all.
We took screenshots and joked around. Just by the sound of this, I know it doesn't sound that exciting and to be fair, it really wasn't anything special, it was just a short little meet-up. However, just because it was short, doesn't mean it was bad. After a while I was asked if I wanted to see a secret spot, as to which I obviously agreed.
So... we went there.
I knew there were hidden caves around the world, but I never expected to have one that close to Altinova, I honestly was shocked,
but also in love with the little cave and its hidden passages around, it was a great place to chill.
Afterwards the cave became kind of my little batcave, whenever I was around Altinova I visited. Whenever I met a friend around the area, I visited.
I am thankful that my friends shared this spot with me, may we sit there again in the future.
Thank you for listening.
