I have quite a few NPCs I love in the world of Black Desert Online. It was difficult choosing just one, but overall, I've chosen Hazel Azealia, one of the, if not the lead representative of Kamasylvia's Acher Guards and the Skill Trainer of Grana.

As someone who has a lot of alt characters, I've spent a lot of time in Polly's Forest grinding Skill Points for each of them. I wouldn't be surprised if out of all the zones I've spent in the game grinding, it has the most hours I've put in. It's where I basically go to really learn a class, figuring out its rotation, combos, little tricks, and so on as I grind for the Skill Point softcap. I learn more there than I do progressing through the Main Quest.

Hazel's presence in Grana and basically being next to Polly's Forest has been a huge convenience for me. It is thanks to her I can switch between Succession and Awakening easily and try them out in Polly's Forest without having to run to somewhere far off. I gave her  She has a pretty serious demeanor, being a high-ranking Acher and all, but I think she has a nice heart under that and probably cares for Kamasylvia as much as Queen Brolina Ornette does. I gave her the [Event] Fragrant Corsage from the "A Gift For Skill Instructors" Event a few weeks ago, but I want to give her a shout-out. Thanks for being an awesome Skill Trainer Hazel.

Now then, I do have some Honorable Mentions I want to shout-out too, even if they won't be my submission for this event/contest. There are quite a few NPCs in Black Desert Online after all and picking one above all the others I really liked was difficult.

Honorable Mentions:
- Dark Knight Ataraxia (Pictured Below). (SPOILERS FOR O'DYLLITA MAIN QUEST) The first Dark Knight NPC us players probably saw in Black Desert Online, as part of O'dyllita's Main Quest, and overall a cheerful, boisterous gal. Having to kill her later on really sucked. I was hoping she'd be a recurring character like Orwen, Edan, and so on. I miss her. I wanted to have more adventures with her. :(

- Orwen. Recurring Main Quest NPC with a lot of interesting - and tragic - lore/backstory behind her. We've seen her since the start in Balenos and all the way up to the current story in O'dyllita. Ataraxia even teased us the player, thinking that we were together with her considering how we rescued her from the border between Kamasylvia and O'dyllita. I hope she comes back for the Mountain of Eternal Winter when it comes out.

- Kalshur Dhillian and the Runaway Monster. (SPOILER FOR STAR'S END MAIN QUEST) Star's End is probably my favorite questline in the world of Black Desert Online. A tale of the Blackstar meteorite, a sinister conspiracy and factions all squabbling with one another seeking power, and a tragic romance all in one questline. Seeing Kalshur's story, the tale of the Runaway Monster and finding out that she was his lover, and that they had a son together, whom us the player bring back to Kalshur and him vowing to rescue his lover, well, it was really quite special.

- Giovan Grolin. Civilian Representative of the Calpheon Parliament. Also the only representative on the Parliament who actually cares about Calpheon's citizens and isn't corrupt. Him and Basquean Lijurik lead the Comita of Tantinis, hoping to change the lives of Calpheon's citizens for the better. And by the time of Star's End, Kalshur has become their patron.
