I see no good reason to add a second Awakening weapon and a whole new list of talents for every class. Succession was just an extension of pre awakening. I could see them adding a Succession style for awakening tho, where they make prime versions of current awakening talents, and you wouldn't ever go back into main hand, in fact that would be preferrable to adding a new weapon, new animations, new skills and everything it's hard enough to balance the 42 classes we have now, because lets face it Succession and Awakening are different classes already.
It could be cool to add another weapon with its own skill tree that you can either equip to your mainhand slot or awakening slot, and you can swap between it and with whatever else you have equipped! (like for ninja you can be shortsword + new weapon or sura katana + new weapon) thus 1 new weapon adding 2 new specs for each class
In theory this would be amazing, but definately would be tricky on the balance and gameplay side :)
There's already so much broken playstyles out there, I don't really see the point of more...
With that said, I do have reuma so for me its very limited what I can play and how long I can play them.
imo the game should be fun for everyone, and lets be real... That's not exactly the case right now.
Why else do people keep leaving? Better fix what's broken then adding more and more broken content.

Why second awakening? Why should I carry two AWA weapons? Isn't "succession" enough? I personally do not see any reason to add another "awakening".
Instead of a second awakening weapon, i'd rather just see the current awakening weapon fully fleshed out into its own full tree. Currently succession feels like an upgrade to the main skills, and feels like its complete, but akakening just feels like some extra skills tacked on to the main ones. Ive seen a lot of players only use one or two skills from awakening and just use the main skills still.
How about removing the swap, and moving some of the main skills over to the awakening tree and making them proper awakening skills with new functions/features, and all using the awakening weapon.
Then most classes (i like the extra classes that have their own specal stuff and no awakening too), would feel like they have two distinct class choices and not just a few added bonuses and a random visual change in the middle of combat. It would also be way less work then adding a third weapon choice.

I would love to see striker with tamers bo staff. Like sun wukong.

exactly this
adding a second 'awakening' weapon would just cause entirely too many problems.
The only thing I support for the forseeable future of this game is a version of Awakening where you fully commit to the Awakening weapon, have its skills buffed, have new ones added, but you can't use your pre-awakening weapon any more. This however would need major restructuring of how the skill trees work, or require what will feel to some classes as some major shenanigans. The movement skills required to be brought over alone would make some classes feel like they got screwed compared to others. For example, Nova's got all the mobility she needs in the awak kit. Lahn's got a 50/50 split with dashes on the awak, but fly and backstep in pre-awak, and then classes like DK, Witch, Wizard, Ninja, Kuno all have the mobility skills in Pre-Awak. There's also the question of blocks and other utility skills that are used in awakening (that dont weapon swap you) ~ wizard E heal and blockjump come to mind immediately here.
In any case what I'd rather see is the balancing we keep being promised. Right now if we grade the amount of 'stuff' a class has between utility / damage / defense / etc / etc , where each class was supposed to be balanced at a total of 100.....we all know Witch Wizard are still sitting at a 120, tamer/shai are at 65, and everyone else is between 85-100...
