I reached now full tet Armor/Weapon and Accessories. So guess that is what´s called softcap (?), and that in my opinion is the point of the beginning of the insane madness of that game here. Now i have to start gamble with mad changes of about 5% on Armor/Weapon, or about like 8% change for Accessories: so that just will fail, no doubt about it, and every time it fails it will cost so much, much silver = and that is the beginning of a circle of failing enhancement and farming silver just to fail again.

Changes of 5% / 10% is in my humble opinion a mad way to even think about starting to beginn with. Sure, there are people getting that things up to pen; because they take it seriously and farming/grinding die hard, and some other just happily spending their money, so they buying all day long costumes in the Item Shop and melt it to cron stones. Everyone should do what they enjoy, that's how I see it. So i'm really the last troll standing, who would condemn something like that.

So do what you enjoy and start saving to buy PEN. Dont bother with the RNG if u dont like the odds,just set yourself a goal of weekly income while you grind,lifeskill,whatever you enjoy and progress at your own pace with no rng involved.

Collect crones from events and try pens with high fs (eg. advice 100-150 from events) and collect money to buy pens.

Pens are absurd and p2w wall.  The problem is: you/we cant enjoy whole game content without full pens and pens are not end game items anymore (but epic fail middle age enchant system not changed from bdo begining, thats the problem)! You still need collect caphras for c10 and Dead God or c20 and in future new acc enchant (hp or crit dmg).

I got one up to 290fs which I saved and second atm going 250fs...

That is unfortunate reality of rng.

If you don't want to enchant you could save up silver and buy pens from market place, it's takes ages but it's doable 

With a little patience you can comfortably get one piece at a time. The way BDO works nowadays, getting from nothing to full TET is so quick, people are not used to sitting on their gear for a few weeks and waiting for upgrades.

Full TET + the Adventure Logs + Caphras Level 3 on all your gear, is more than enough, to engage in 95% of the games content, to make silver without much issue and then buying PEN piece by piece.

Just get rid of the instant upgrade mentality, not gonna happen for the majority of players. Tone it down for now, do some lifeskills, grind, try to drop some artifacts like the potion and save up your silver, don't go and splurge it all on random ideas what to enhance and what not.

Just buy it if you don't want to enhance. With how easy money is made in the current stage of BDO, you can easily earn a PEN within 2-4 weeks depending on how much time you sink into the game and which PEN you are buying.
