Hi Troll.  PENs are at an all-time low right now in price.  It's super easy to get PEN now, you don't even need to mess with RNG for it.  For perspective, I went from full TET everything, like where you are now, to full PEN armor and weapons, full TET yellow accs with 2 TET Disto.  Got this in about 9 months or so last year, when PEN prices were more expensive than they are now.  What's the average price right now, like 16 bil?  When I was going for PEN, they were up to 18 bil +.  If I can do it anyone can.  The only benefit of enhancing your own is having your name on it and the pride it brings.  It could be cheaper or more expensive if you enhance, RNG is not really predictable.  If those emotional triggers mean less to you than pure performance, then do what I did.

Set a daily silver goal.  Baby steps, start with an easy 300 mil per day.  Two hours of active playtime a day, super easy if you got some time.  At 300 mil per day, which is honestly really low, you can get a PEN every month and a half.  Up that to 500 mil per day, you'll get a PEN every month.

You have a goal.  Now, to reach it, come up with a plan and stick to it.  Has never did me wrong, and I'm almost to my next goal, using this same strategy.  F luck.  Trust your own two hands.

I sure don´t, I will buy my PEN´s if I feel I ever like it. (Yes kinda poor right now, but hey I´m lazy in BDO analways...)

One more thing to add:

This enhanceing system may have some flaws, but I ecountered far worse in numerous other MMO´s which were not only punishing, but back then there were no Failstacks like in BDO. I consider BDO´s gear threadmil as kind of forgiving if you aren´t stupid.

Oh & nobody can stop you to buy yourselves a sweet sweet PEN´s!

There is an answer, but that doesn't matter because PENs sit and those that don't will have preorders filled in a reasonable time. Useless argument point.

BDO vets have plenty of ressources to produce PENs through upgrades without needing to spend a single cent.

I think many of you dont get the dilemma that not all people can nolife every day to play this game with a purpose of maybe getting PENs if RNG doesnt take a dump on you, which it often times does.
Theres a lot of people who work irl and do a lot of other stuff that anyone else does.  Though lets be honest - a ton of full PENers definetly arent working class people as anyone in that category doesnt have a lot of free time to put into this game.

I myself am taking the causal semi to full afk route (slaves, imperial, rewards) to get money, eventhough that is also very slow to get progress compared to someone who can toss over 5 hours a day into grinding.

Personally i hate it that i have to go through this RNG -passive afk circus just to get into PvP. Not long ago there was some clown at bloodwolves (was grinding for pot piece) who wanted my spot and he just obliterated me. Eventhough i constantly got the first CC, knocking his ass on the floor, i literally did wet noodle damage to him cause hey, gear over skill amirite (am on soft cap gear).

So what you're saying is you want gear without working for it? I mean if that is what you're saying then the conversation is done.

What you said may make sense in other MMOs cause in there time spent = guaranteed or almost guaranteed progress in terms of gearing. But in the context of BDO, it makes 0 sense as in here, time spent = RNG progression with guaranteed gearing deprogression along the way.

So can you actually call it "getting gear without work" when the entire gearing progress around here works around RNG with failure to upgrade = downgrading?

Now dont get me wrong, obviously time spent should also be rewarded accordingly but in this game, due to what i typed previously, eeeeh, doesnt seem like it.

Anyway this goes back to the same old opinion that people have had for years - remove the asian love for RNG culture from BDO and this game would be perfect. Cause lets be honest- almost everyone who plays or has played strictly left the game cause time spent doesnt = the deserved reward due to how the gear progression system is.

Tho to be fair, compared to how it was years ago, the progress in gearing is far far more better (bless you seasonal shiz) in terms of reaching soft cap. Tho it still does suck a lot that hard cap complitely wipes the floor with soft cap.
But yeah in my opinion skill should allways outweigh gear no matter what game you play.

except you're conpletely wrong. the longer you play the game as long as you're playing it right the more gear you will have. there is guaranteed gain if you put time into it.

Skill over gear is an entire different conversation, and you devolved your entire argument back to the rng aspect without regarding the fact that more than a several people have already pointed out that you can just buy including yourself but don't want to dedicate the time to it.

so which is it?

you don't want to play the rng game? the markets right there for you. 

you wanr gear but don't want to put in the effort? well you don't deserve it.

the game is too hard/time consuming for you? find a more casual game

your argument would've held if it was 2 years prior, but with the current state of the market and how silver per hour has creeped drastically over the years, its very simple to get gear now.

There is this crazy feature called "Central Market" where u can buy items with silver u will obtain from playing / spending time in the game. It also has this nice side effect of 0 RNG. I know its hard to grasp for people who hate on the enhancing system all the time but u really dont have to enhance. Everything is buyable. 

ive managed to get to get Pen dande, kzarka, and dim tree aswell as tet blackstarm (enhanced) in around 4 months, just saving my money, daily crates . Grinding and liquidating everything i dont need in order to grind. Its not really that bad when you consider you can make in excess of half a billion a day relativly easily. if you also have spare boss peice to enahcne and sell when they go tet you can make billions a day faily simply. i know the latter revolves around RNG but it will happen eventuall
