I came back to the world of Black Desert at the start of the year, feeling happy and hopeful for new beginnings.
I began streaming and making content for the game, and just enjoying myself as a casual player.
Enjoying the game along with my partner and dog with her two puppies Miki and Whitey.
I thought..That was the best life. fast forward to early May, our little baby angel Miki suddenly became sick with the parvovirus.
Me and my partner don't earn much so we had to zero out all of our savings after coming out of family troubles during Covid.
and tried our best to give her the best care and treatment she needed.
Because her tests were super positive, her Vet told us that she can be monitored at home and hopefully she will get better.
We brought her home, and so me and my partner stayed up all night to watch her and keep her safe. I wish I had insisted on her staying at the vet.
The entire night, she stayed up with me, and tried to drink her water with medicine. At that point, we were going to bring her back to the vet because there were

a LOT of complications.
At around 7 am, she was still awake as if she was waiting for me to fall asleep, at this point, my partner was also asleep.
Miki kept looking at me like she was saying good bye, and sure enough..I fell asleep.
Me and my partner both woke up at about 9am, vets open at 9am..but Miki was already gone..
and Whitey started showing the same symptoms so we got him checked in to the vet for 8 days and every single penny we ever saved.
I was devastated and just stayed beside Miki and cried for hours.
By the end of the day, I immediately made a character and named her after Miki, and chose a Mystic because of how bouncy and active they are as a class just like my puppy Miki..I got her to level 56 in a couple of hours and went to Polly's forest.
The moment I got there, I just saw the sunset and started crying..
My partner asked me what was wrong, and I just said..Nothing, Just saying goodbye to Miki one last time..
The screenshot is in Polly's Forest, during the sunset, and Black Desert has given me a way to remember and immortalize the sweetest puppy I have ever known.
