Can anyone provide me a number of posts, tickets, discord conversations, or other means of communication it will take for someone to get off thier HINDQUARTERS at Pearl Abyss and fix this nonsense? Its a constant, annoying bug that has been reported more times that UFO's at this point, yet NOT A SINGLE PERSON at PA is compentant enough to fix it?
Man o Man am I SO GLAD for the Bugatti collaboration because that's what we all needed...jfc..
they can not seem to fix a bug that been around from when we first got ships just like they can not fix the port at velia
To be fair, they have a lot to work on in a large game and are pushing out changes every week. The sea issues are probably just lower down on their priority list for whatever reason - along with too many other issues which involving polishing the game. They've probably simply focused all of their efforts elsewhere and aren't even trying to work out the various sea issues - either that, or they've bundled almost all of their sea content fixes with the next big sea content update that's supposed to have come a while ago but still hasn't.
Regardless, I honestly think that the physics for ships and the sea in general are downright embarrassing and that it's kind of crazy that they ever even considered releasing the sea content in such a state. It's like they decided to call it good after barely getting it working rather than taking the time to actually work out all of the various issues, and they don't seem to have gone back to work them out either. IMHO, if they don't actually have the manpower or expertise to sort the sea issues out, they desperately need to fix that. I honestly think that they should be embarrassed by the state of the boat physics in this game.

Shouldn't be used as an excused. I'm sure a good majority of players would agree that they would rather have the game polished rather than another new class or more dead on arrival content.

Oh, I completely agree. They need to focus more on polishing what they have (especially the sea content given how bad its current state is), but my point is that I expect that the main issue here is not necessarily that they can't fix the problems but that they simply put them way down the priority list. If they decided to actually focus on polishing the existing content, they could probably improve the situation with the sea content quite a bit. Ultimately though, I expect that they focus on new content with the idea that it drives interest in the game, and they're not managing to do it in a way that allows them to also polish everything, which is a serious problem for the quality of some aspects of the game.

That's a lie and everyone knows it. Before global build, community was certainly not like "ok Pearl Abyss you're doing a good job at fixing bugs and polishing the game, we can wait for content.", community was literally crying everyday because a good majority of players can't be bothered to wait for content.
Also @OP, the issue isn't lacking competent devs to fix your fav bug and you know it perfectly since you joined in 2016 and probably witnessed the metric ton of bugs PA fixed every week ever since. The issue is that your fav bug didn't make it to top priority yet and you also probably know it.

Yea, the "Hair sticking out of costumes" or "my baewha doesn't jiggle in all the right spots" seem to make it to the top always. "Priorities"..
