why make it a race thing, why are you so scared of other people being seen as beautiful? Because they are? You really gonna act like ya'll wasnt equating braids and locs to being dirty, and laid edges to being ghetto 30 years ago? I posted asking for some new hairstyles in a game and you saw something preatty and had that complex pop up needing to claim it "for your people". Start appreciating other cultures, your bias is showing.

There is always push back when there are any suggestions on making BDO more racially diverse. I'm surprised the NA playerbase actually even tolerates the existence of Hash.

Still I think it's a great idea. I've made the same suggestion myself before but specifically, just to make Hash's hairstyle available to every class. To which, I received a bunch of critiscm for some reason.

This was my exact thought when they said it was more work. I work in animation too and know they aren't difficult. Depending on how it's done, they're sometimes easier to make.

As for them being "ethnic" hairstyles, you're right there too. Braids and locs are considered protective (with varied styles depending on region/cultures) as trying to do the straight styles that the game has actually damage black hair. The things you need to do to get naturally curly hair straight fries it over time and it breaks off.

+1 to this idea. I'm an African player based in the UK and I've found the lack black of hairstyles overall to be a bit disappointing especially considering the depth of the character creation overall. I like Musa dreads and I loved Hashashin's hairstyles but not being able to have similar ones, even if they are generic, would be nice. Will post some pics below, not all hairstyles would even need to be that complicated tbh.

Generally more additions to hair, tattoos and character customization would be a welcome addition.

Hows that ethnic? Every culture has braids and curly hair. I personally don't count dreads as a hairstyle, cuz you walk with rotting turds on your head, but ppl like it :/

Dreadlocks aren't "rotting turds" it's a normal hairstyle that consists of locking hair together as it grows in length. You wash it and treat it like any normal shorter or other styles. If people don't take care of their dreadlocks then it can look bad but you can say the same for any hairstyle involving longer hair. They already expained why some of these hairstyles posted are considered "ethnic" further up the thread.

I've been playing BDO longer than most and I actually agree the hairstyles in the game are not very indicative of diverse peoples. You can kinda get close with the curls slider but nothing that looks stylish. 

And just so you know, before your posts obviously gets removed by a mod, PA did venture into more ethnic hairstyles when they introduced Hasashin, so it's not out of the realm of possibilty.
