Got my transfer all done and most my guildmates have checked in completed too.
One of my guys having some issues. He logs into game via Facebook but Kakao website never has accepted his Facebook login, so he can't request transfer. He submited tickets to Kakao support already but they marked his ticket resolved and closed it.
Overall from all the games I have played before that exchanged publishers, this is a very smooth transition overall. Minus my one guildmate mentioned above and that is a Kakao issues really.

Flawless transfer, Glad we're here! Now ALL BDO's profit can go into the devs hands to "Make Black Desert Great Again (BDGA)" xD instead of Kakao's aka Kashcows hands. BIG PLUS imo!
You will soon realize it wasn't Kakao who is the cashcow

PA didn't take over Kakao.
PA is the developer (the company that made BDO) and they paid Kakao (the publisher, the company that helps developers bring their game over to other regions without worrying about the logistics) to manage their game in NA/EU. The contract between the two companies is coming to a termination and PA is deciding to self-publish the game in NA/EU like they are doing for other foreign regions.
