I really have to say this now, it is so annoying to see every big announcement and trailer of you PEARL ABYSS/BDO in korean language only (with english subtitles).

I can´t even enjoy your videos while having breakfast, lunch, dinner, or whatsoever, because each time I have to pause your content to read. It is just ridiculous.

We are globalized and ENGLISH is the global language and lingua franca, which get teached in most countries nowadays in first grade school or primary school.

Why do you have to make all your videos in Korean? Are your people not educated enough to speak english? I bet not, if you got that good coders, designers, etc.

It is really a shame for you Pearl Abyss, seeing each time all videos in korean language only. We are in the 21nd century and not in ancient times or in the 18th century, with much pride or honor, where you had to learn as a foreigner the foreign language before entering the foreign country.

We are globalized and everybody understands english and communicates with his second language in english. Why do you need to be so proud or whatever your problem is, to have every released video content in korean? Is it such a shame to hire a professional interpreter or someone, who can dub (synchronize) your videos and live-content (e.g. Heidel Ball, Calphe:ON Ball, etc.)?!

I mean really, you made the first step on selling your product world wide, but still you cannot go out of your comfortzone and talk to the international community in english, instead you make it horrible for us, reading your videos with subtitles only, where most of the text is misunderstood or takes longer to understand and read. And it´s not just a small article what "we" the "end-user" can put in google translate, it is for your roadmaps, quarterly updates, etc.

Always those important things, where everybody in this world wants to enjoy the video content with a fluid audio language content in english.

And it´s not like the community outside of korea is smaller than the korean playerbase. The international playerbase is 6 or 7 times bigger than the whole korean playerbase, if not even more than that. How ignorant can you be?

Imagine if you as a korean have to watch a video on demand from a big company you love in their native language in arabic, or portugeese, and you have to pause each time the video, to follow the text and to understand what it means, and to rewind, just because the company is too lazy to get someone to interpret it in english. Now you know how it feels.

Get over that bull*hit really! And get someone professional to make a english audio content!

Thank you!

I believe the Korean market is their highest player count. PA is a Korean Developer. I hear what you're complaining about but we are all playing a Korean MMO. Least they could do is subtitle the trailers and announcment videos which they do. I'm just saying.

From what I recall, actual trailers pretty much always end up with a fully English version. However, it is true that during the recent Heidel Ball, they didn't put all of the videos they showed in English (the video they showed about changes to the tutorial section of the game didn't even have English subtitles), but I think that that stems from the fact that they did a live presentation rather than pre-recording it - and some of the presentation stuff was basically just developer demos rather than actual trailers, so they're certainly not going to have gone to the effort of fully localizing them at this stage. The weird one though is how they initially showed the Corsair's trailer in Korean with English subtitles only to later show it fully in English. In that case, they clearly had the full English version already, so I don't know what happened.

In any case, realistically, because the developers are Korean, stuff like the Heidel and Calpheon Balls are going to end up being in Korean with English subtitles - especially when a developer is speaking. However, PA does release their actual trailers fully voiced in English (as well as several other languages), so I don't know what the complaint here is really is about here. If it's about the trailers, then I don't know what the OP was watching, because those are fully in English. If it's about the ball, then I think that that's just life. It sucks how you have to actually watch it to understand it (especially when it has hours of fluff in it instead of just useful information), but the developers are Korean, and they're obviously going to talk in Korean.
