If you're wanting access to lore and lore based discussions whether it be on the classes or game story itself the official BDO discord would also be a good place to stop by since I seen you've already been linked the about Ninja. https://discord.gg/blackdesertonline

As someone else pointed out you can have discussions with others about lore on various social channels.

There are multiple ways to learn the lore in BDO.

The main one is though the main quest, but that in general is a very small part of the entire lore and you are only offered enough lore for most things to make sense.
The vast majority of lore is found by obtaining knowledge, and there is a lot. You can access you knowledge pannel by pressing H (in-game).

When it comes to class lore it's fairly similar to the main quest, you get a general idea though random bits in the main quest and though the class quests known as succession and awakening. But again the vast majority of the lore will be in the form or knowledge that you have to find yourself in the world.

BDO has extremly rich lore, however the delivery method is absolutely terrible, hence why it's probably easier to speak with others that are involved and interested in the same topics as you.

With the advancement of AI tech (expecially voice acting AI), hopefully they will one day implement the ability for the Knowledge lore to be read to you (if you choose to) when you obtain it. It would make a lot of sense, to have the black spirit "narate" this information and it would make it a much better experience then having to read though thousands of pages to inform urself.

There also appears to be differences in lore based on Consol vs. PC games (I play PC) or perhaps GM announcements respectively.

For example there's a GM announcement for the Ninja Awakening (in 2019) that includes the Awakening lore, however it's specifically on the Consol version of the website. This specific version of the lore is different from the learned knowledge lore in game.

To see the Awakening Kwowledge in game: Press 'H' then navigate through Learning the Ropes of Black Desert > Awakening Weapons > Redeemed Pride # 1-3.
The GM Announcement LINK: https://www.console.playblackdesert.com/News/Detail?boardNo=1128&category=0

If you read throught both you'll find that the GM announcement has more personalized details about the Ninja than in the Awakening Weapons knowledge you learn through story progression. Overall, the Ninja backstory and general lore are quite facinating and IMO more compelling than other character classes.

(idk how to add hyperlinks in this format yet, so my appologies for that)
