I'm sorry you've been inconvenienced by this issue and I know it's quite frustrating. However, I believe for the Crio task you can fish anywhere, but of course you need to be close by Crio to turn it in. I recommend going to the Balenos River, which is by the Western Guard Camp. That's what I am pretty sure I did when I had to do this task! Make sure you have a decent fishing level - the higher the better, +5 fishing, and fishing buff foods/elixirs. It is a very annoying task to complete for the Logs, and I got unlucky only catching greens for 2 hours and I'm Guru fishing! RNG will be RNG. I also highly recommend having your dream horse to speed ride back to Crio from the River.

You should be able to complete the Grunt task for Igor as normal for the Adventure Log after maintenance! The Amberjack fishing event will be ending with maintenance, which is at 4am EST, and is scheduled to last 5 hours. 

I recommend to go on the Island right above Cron Castle - and fish there on the South End - you dont need to fish in velia and you dont need a grunt every yellow grade fish beside that event stuff on the beach works - also there is a bigger pool of diffrent yellow grade fishes.
