Black Desert will begin in a moment.

Install the Black Desert Launcher if the game doesn't start.

Install the Black Desert Launcher to start the game.

The launcher will appear if it's installed.
If it doesn't, try to run your downloaded launcher.

Install Guide

1 Run BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe to install the Black Desert launcher.

2 Start the game once installation is complete.

Hi I'm from South America Argentina and I would like to know if the ip block from BDO NA will be lifted after pearl abyss takes over the game, i refuse to play on the south america server, i want to play with my friend in NA.

Well, given the fact that PA is taking the publishing FOR NA/EU from Kakao, and that the South America publisher is Redfoxgames.....I don't think the IP would be lifted unless PA takes the publishing rights from Redfoxgames too

I don't know if this will be true in the case of NA/EU, but there may be some hope:

 

When PA took over publishing of the RU version from GameNet, they removed the IP block from the game client.  The web page still has an IP block, but not the client.  So you only need VPN to create and log into the website, but it's not needed to play the game.

 

That's not to say that's how NA/EU will work, but that's what happened in the past and is still the case.  I can log into my old RU game without any VPN, which I do sometimes to play around in character creation when a new class comes out and I don't want to interrupt my AFK fishing.

If you want any advantage (or at at least not be totally disadvantaged) in PVP in NA servers, you'll probably need to run a VPN anyways.
