Season Server is a special server focused entirely on helping Season Characters progress quickly.

To support faster progression, Season Server provides powerful EXP buffs 24/7.

A Season Character is a special character that can enter Season Servers and receive all season-exclusive benefits. Season Characters can progress much faster than normal characters.

▲ Click "Create Season Character" on the Character Selection screen to get started.

You can only have one season character at any given time. Upon graduating your season character, it will turn into a normal character, and then you can create a new season character as long as you have season character tickets available.

⚠️ Season Character Creation Rules

• One Season Character at a time: You can only have one Season Character per Family at a time.
• Season Character Ticket: You must have a Season Character Ticket to create a Season Character. If you have a ticket available, the Season Character creation option will appear on the Character Selection screen. A Season Character Ticket is consumed when the character graduates.

One of the biggest benefits of playing a Season Character is the Season Pass.

The Season Pass serves as a progression guide, showing new Adventurers what content to tackle and how to strengthen their character.

Click the yellow Black Spirit icon to the left of the minimap at the top right of the screen to check your current Season Pass objectives, progress, and available rewards.

Simply leveling your Season Character will earn you a variety of Season Pass rewards, including Tuvala gear, mounts, Skill EXP, Fitness EXP, and crystals.

Your first step into the vast world of Black Desert is following the game's main story.

After creating a Season Character, the fastest and most reliable way to progress is to follow the main questline.

Main quests do more than help you level up. They also introduce you to different regions, help you obtain essential Knowledge, and provide Contribution EXP as you explore the world.

▲ Summon the Black Spirit and accept a main quest, then press (T) to auto-run to your destination.

• Accepting quests: Summon the Black Spirit, then select Main Quest (Q) to begin.
• Auto-run: To navigate to a quest objective or NPC, right-click the quest in the quest widget on the right side of the screen, then press T to automatically move toward the destination.

As you progress through the main story, you will encounter crossroad quests that let you choose between different story paths and perspectives.

▲ Choose whichever story branch interests you most.

Your choice does not affect overall progression balance or your character's performance. Once the selected branch ends, the story will naturally rejoin the main questline, so feel free to choose whichever route appeals to you.

New to Black Desert? Follow the Main Questline!

Because Season Characters are designed for accelerated progression, they cannot equip normal gear. Instead, they use Tuvala gear, which is specifically designed to make early progression easier.

▲ Tuvala gear is easy to obtain and enhance during the early stages of your adventure.

New Adventurers can easily obtain basic Tuvala weapons and defense gear from Blacksmith NPCs in major cities at a consistent price. Tuvala gear uses the same Black Stones as normal gear for enhancement.

There is no need to follow complicated PvE routes. By leveling your Season Character and completing the Season Pass objectives in order, you can obtain a full set of PEN (V) Tuvala gear , including main weapon, awakening weapon, sub-weapon, 4 pieces of defense gear, earrings, rings, belt, and necklace.

Once you have completed every Season Pass objective and claimed all available rewards, you can finally graduate from the season and continue your adventures beyond the Season Servers.

When you graduate, your Season Character becomes a normal character.

The character will no longer be able to enter Season Servers or receive season benefits, but will be able to equip normal gear without season restrictions, including Boss and Slumbering Origin gear.

After graduating from the season, your next step is to continue exploring and progressing through the wider world of Black Desert.
