Node War & Conquest War

Dernière modification : 3 janv. 2024, 16:59 (UTC)

◈ Node War

Node War is RvR content where guilds (and alliances) compete against each other for control over various nodes scattered throughout the Black Desert world.

The nodes that serve as the stage for Node War belong to different territories: Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah, Valencia, and Kamasylvia.

Node Wars take place from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (GMT+1) every day except for Saturdays when Conquest Wars are held. Each day has designated nodes available for participation. Furthermore, each node has unique tiers ranging from tier 1 to tier 5, which impose restrictions on the maximum number of participants, their stats, and available annexes.

To find out which regions in the Black Desert host Node Wars, as well as the tiers and days on which Node Wars are held, you can click on the "Node War Information" button located in the top right corner of the world map.

Below is a table summarizing the schedule and participant limits for each node tier.
Consider the number of available participants and the average equipment level of guild members to participate in Node Wars at an appropriate level and experience the thrill of intense battles.

Upon successfully capturing a node in Node War, you receive the benefits of node investment at double the usual rate when defeating monsters within the occupied node area.

If victorious in Node War, you can acquire the accumulated taxes from the corresponding node as a basic reward. The higher the node tier, the greater the amount of taxes.
Additionally, you can make use of the War Vendor specific to each node tier and obtain individual victory rewards. Even if you do not achieve victory in Node War, participation alone can earn you rewards.

Please refer to section 3, “Node War Victory/Participation Rewards,” in this guide for detailed information on the participation rewards.

2. How to Participate in Node War

◈ Building a Fort

To participate in a Node War, the first step is to construct a fort. Only the Guild Master, Advisor, and Guild Officers can build a fort. You can purchase a fort from the Guild Military Supply Manager NPCs in major cities and towns.

Once you have purchased a fort, you need to construct it within the Node War area of the desired node you wish to participate in.

First, decide which node area you want to build the fort in.

To construct the fort, you need to go to the appropriate server with the same name as the territory where the node is located. You can find out which servers are available for building the fort by checking the Node War schedule for that day.

For example, if the node belongs to Balenos, you can build the fort on the Balenos 1 server, and the Node War will also take place on that server.

Once you have moved to the appropriate server for building the fort, you can right-click on the fort item to install it. Fort installation takes one hour to complete. If the installation is not yet complete, you can also cancel the installation. However, cancellation is not possible if there is less than one hour remaining until the start of the Node War or if it has already begun.

Has the fort installation been successfully completed? If so, guild members/alliance members can apply to participate in the Node War by clicking the "Participate" button in the Guild menu (G).

You can freely apply to participate as long as the maximum number of participants for the specific node has not been reached while the Node War is in progress. However, you can only cancel your participation (change to "No") until the start of the Node War. After the Node War has started, changes are not possible.

◈ Building Annexes

The main goal of Node War is to destroy the enemy fort and defend your guild/alliance fort. Annexes assist in achieving these objectives.

Each annex has a designated maximum number of installations. Therefore, it is important to assess which annexes are necessary for the current Node War and where it is best to install them.

You can find detailed explanations of each annex in the [Annex Guide].

◈ Fight and Achieve Victory!

Gather all those who can move to the Node War fort at the start of the battle! The "Assemble!" button will be activated, allowing you to instantly move to the fort location.

The objective of the Node War is clear: protect your own fort and destroy the enemy's fort.
Discuss strategies with guild members and faithfully carry out assigned missions to achieve your objective.

Utilize various annexes and assign roles such as assault teams and defense teams. Develop strategies and aim for victory in the Node War.

◈ Node War Results

If all forts of other guilds/alliances participating in the same node are destroyed, and your guild/alliance fort remains intact, you achieve victory in the Node War.

Alternatively, if the guild/alliance that occupied the node in the previous week participates in the same node again and their fort is not destroyed until the end of the Node War, it results in a successful defense and victory in the Node War.

If two or more forts remain at the end of the Node War, the node will be liberated. When a node is liberated, all forts and annexes are automatically demolished.
If a guild/alliance has successfully captured the node in the Node War, their fort will remain intact, while the annexes will be demolished. All forts and annexes of other guilds/alliances will be demolished as well.

3. Node War Victory/Participation Rewards

When adventurers and their guilds participate in the intense battles of Node War or emerge victorious to claim a node, they are rewarded with glorious spoils!

Brace yourselves for the bountiful rewards that await:

◈ Taxes

When a guild wins a Node War, they receive the accumulated taxes from that node as guild funds. The taxes can be acquired immediately upon capturing the node, and the higher the node tier, the higher the percentage of taxes that can be obtained.

Tax Acquisition Rate by Node Tier:

Tax Acquisition Rate by Node Tier
Node Tier  Rate
Tier 1 Beginner  9.6%
Tier 1 Intermediate  14.4%
Tier 2  20%
Tier 3  24%
Tier 4  32%

◈ Fervent Reward & Determined Reward

Adventurers receive appropriate reward items based on the tier of the node they participated in and the results of the Node War. However, rewards can only be obtained if the minimum requirements for guild/alliance in the Node War are met (such as destroying enemy forts, achieving a total of 50 or more kills/deaths, etc.).

The reward items consist of Gold Bars, Resplendent Medal of Honor, Essence of Honor/Gallantry, and other items that aid your adventures. Click below for detailed information on each reward item.

4. Important Details about Node War Rules

We have explored the ways to participate in Node War and the rewards and benefits that await you. Now, let's delve into the specific rules that govern Node War.

While it is not necessary to know every detail to excel in Node War, understanding these rules can greatly assist in preparing and strategizing for the battles to come.

For adventurers who prefer to review only the rules of Node War, we have compiled them for your convenience.

Common Rules for Node/Conquest Wars:

1 When victorious in a Node/Conquest War and occupying a node, the accumulated taxes are automatically collected by the occupying guild/alliance.
2 If an allied fort/command post/field HQ is destroyed during the Node/Conquest War, you are no longer considered as participants and cannot attack participating guilds/alliances.
3 During the Node/Conquest War, guild wars are restricted on the server, and attacks can only be carried out according to the rules of Node/Conquest War.
4 During the Node/Conquest War, there are no penalties for death in PvP encounters between participating guilds/alliances.
5 During the Node/Conquest War, even when wearing camouflage outfits (Treant Camouflage, Desert Camouflage), your identity is exposed.
6 From 2 hours before the start of the Node/Conquest War until its completion, all participating guilds/alliances are unable to recruit new guild members.

Node War Rules:

1 Node Wars take place every day (except Saturday) from 20:00 to 22:00. (GMT+1)
2 Node Wars are held in the following regions: Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah, Valencia, and Kamasylvia. Each region has its own designated servers for the wars. (ex. A Node War in Mediah will happen on  Mediah_1)
3 Node Wars consist of five tiers: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, and Tier 5. With each progressing tier, the amount of tax earned upon victory increases, and higher tier-specific war vendors become accessible.
4 Guilds and alliances should take into account the tier-based restrictions on the number of participants and their stats when choosing nodes to participate in.
5 Each guild/alliance can occupy up to three nodes per week. However, if a guild/alliance fails to occupy a node, they can participate in up to six wars per week, but they must meet the minimum requirements for participation opportunity return.
6 To participate in a Node War, guilds/alliances must construct a fully built fort in the desired day, region, and server at least one hour before the war's start time.
7 Apply for Node Wars on the respective server when the fort is constructed and on the designated day. Note that if the maximum participation limit for the node has been reached, you cannot apply for participation.
8 The fort built by a guild/alliance automatically completes one hour after installation. Prior to completion, the fort can be demolished, but once completed, it cannot be demolished. Additionally, if there is less than one hour remaining until the start of the Node War and the fort is not yet completed, it cannot be demolished.
9 Once the Node War starts, all forts cannot be demolished.
10 During the Node War, participating guilds/alliances can visually identify enemy forts and mark them on the world map by inflicting damage. However, after one hour since the start of the Node War, all enemy forts are automatically marked on the world map without requiring damage infliction.
11 The victory condition in Node Wars is the destruction of all participating guilds/alliances' forts while ensuring that your own guild/alliance's fort remains intact. If a guild/alliance occupied the node in the previous week and participates in the same Node War this week, if their fort is not destroyed until the end of the Node War, they achieve successful defense for consecutive occupation.
12 If multiple forts survive until the end of the Node War, the node is liberated. For guilds/alliances that occupied the node in the previous week and participated in the same Node War this week, successfully defending their fort results in consecutive occupation success.
13 When a node is liberated, all guilds/alliances' forts and annexes are demolished.
14 At the end of the Node War, all forts, except for the one owned by the victorious guild/alliance, are demolished. This includes the annexes of the occupying guild/alliance as well.
15 Every Saturday at midnight (24:00), all guilds/alliances' forts and annexes that remain are demolished. However, the occupation status of nodes is maintained.
16 To continue the node occupation, a guild/alliance must construct a new fort and participate in the Node War to achieve victory.
17 To construct a fort in a different node and target a new location in the upcoming Node War, a guild/alliance must first refrain from participating in the defense of the previously occupied node or fail in its defense.
18 Guilds/alliances occupying a territory can participate in Node Wars only twice per week, regardless of the outcome. While they can still receive individual rewards and access the War Vendor upon victory, they are unable to occupy additional nodes or collect accumulated taxes from the occupied node.
19 Each guild/alliance has one weekly opportunity to participate in the Node War, with the chance to participate again after meeting the minimum requirements for opportunity return. The minimum requirement includes destroying an enemy fort or achieving a total of 100 or more kills/deaths and preventing the destruction of your Fort for at least 10 minutes. Failure to meet this requirement will result in no opportunity return. (Note: Node War opportunities are reset every Saturday at 24:00 and a new opportunity is granted.)
20 Victorious guilds/alliances in the Node War can obtain accumulated taxes from the occupied node, access the tier-specific War Vendor, and receive individual rewards.
21 Guilds/alliances that fail to successfully occupy can still receive the individual Resolve Reward.

Node Wars offer various benefits and rewards, but it's also an opportunity to experience the thrill of guild-scale group PvP and build strong bonds with guild members.

Even if your gear may not be exceptional, you can participate in the appropriate tier of Node Wars and engage in intense battles. Additionally, you can make use of various siege weapons such as cannons, Hwacha, and flame towers to showcase your skills.

We look forward to witnessing your magnificent feats on the Node Wars battlefield!
